Marionette
I love watching you run - your arms and legs move in a not-quite-smooth fashion, as if your limbs were on a marionette string, moving in small slightly unpredictable angular movements, loose jointed. It must be fun though, this method of running because you are always smiling and laughing when you do it. It makes me want to try it to and I wonder how far I could run like that. But then it’s not about length or precision or mileage, it is about the joy of new found freedom of movement.

Okay, so maybe I’m not so good at this. We’ll try this again though.
When I give you a bath you like it when I take one of the cars you’ve brought into (or thrown) into the bathtub and run it down your back. You sit hunched over your Bhudda belly and I can feel you tense and shiver. And then when I finish and hand the car back, you hand it back to me and I laugh and say, you want some more baby massage and I rev the car up again ready for another run down your back.
