Reading

You snuggled into my side eating strawberries your grandmother had cut up for you and sent home with us because you wouldn't eat them at their place. You are digging the little fork in with your left hand and lean back and "read" the stockings. When you "read" you say "momomomo". But this time after you do this you point to your dad's which has "Papa" on it and say "Papa" and then you point to the one with "Mama" and say "M-a-m-a, Mama". Then you go back to eating the strawberries, and I catch the few that fall off and eat them myself.

Wowwow

You say "wow" or "wowowow" a lot now. I hadn't realized it was something I was saying that much to you. So now though, when we're in the car, on the way back from Vika's you'll spot a big truck or van and say "wowowow" and I'll say "wow" back, and it is the two of us, wowed at the big dirty trucks that go by as we head down 19th avenue. I am fairly certain that we are only ones admiring these trucks. But I would watch a parade of trucks to hear your little wows.
